The development of steel must bring the whole city’s economic development. It is a golden period for steel plant development at present. The steel output strides forward 10million tons. About 600 tons of vanadium-nitrogen alloy is consumed every years, which are mostly imported. The demand of vanadium-nitrogen alloy may be more than 1000tons along with the enlarging of scale. Seen from the whole country, the development of steel and iron must be much intense. So it is natural trend to apply vanadium-nitrogen alloy technology to produce new three-level steel containing vanadium, which must bring the increase for vanadium-nitrogen alloy. It is obvious it has remarkable regional advantages to choose Maansha as the production area of developing vanadium nitride. We will catch the opportunity of the construction of production area for national 863 new material in Maanshan to improve national level of vanadium nitride alloy and quicken the industrialization of vanadium nitride alloy.
